Shannon Monteiro, MA, QMHP-A/C, Program Director
Shannon Monteiro joined Glascow Health Services LLC in 2018, following 15 years in the home-based counseling and mental health support field. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, coupled with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Clinical Counseling, assisting all people with reaching their greatest potential. She serves as Field Supervisor and Lead Counselor with exceptional skills in leadership, program development, problem-solving, and training. Her hobbies include: traveling, cooking, DIY projects, and spending time with her 15-year-old daughter.
Alfred Howard, LCSW
Alfred Howard is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), licensed in the state of Virginia, and certified to provide supervision for licensure. He has over 15 years of experience using clinically tested and evidence-based interventions with thousands of families, couples, children and individuals; as well as a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds, cultures, faiths, sexual preferences and diagnosis. His experience is unique, having provided direct practice and supervision in a diverse number of settings; including outpatient, residential, hospital, nursing homes and assisted living communities, hospice, in-home, and military. Alfred has presented at medical conferences, professional and community conferences, and has served on the executive and advisory boards for a number of non-profit organizations. He currently holds executive board positions for the Autism Society of America for Tidewater Virginia and the Woodstock Recreation League in Virginia Beach. An alumnus of the University of Illinois and Old Dominion University, Alfred has a Masters in Social Work and a Bachelors in Sociology. He is an outdoor enthusiast who, in his spare time, enjoys adventures with his family, writing, and gardening.
